nyc - HUDSON SQUARE - tribeca
Tucked between Tribeca and Soho in the American Thread Building, The Hudson Square Loft is more peaceful than one might think. Entering into the open-plan living space, you’ll find the kitchen on the left, which has minimal white cabinets and a pair of slatted wooden doors. The round dining table, beyond, seats four, and to the right is the sitting room. Cream-coloured cushions adorn a pair of contemporary brown armchairs, while full-height shelves provide plenty of books to read on the caramel leather sofa.
Head right, via the sitting room, and you’ll find the third bedroom, which has a high ceiling and a pair of single beds. The second bedroom (which has a double bed framed by wall-mounted bookshelves) is around the corner to the left, and at the end of the hallway is the master bedroom. There’s a vintage feel to this room, thanks to the mid-century chest of drawers beside the king-size bed, and there’s a contrast in styles between the contemporary bathroom and the traditional all-white ensuite.
